The Free Dictionary is an app with true style!. Not only is it beautiful to look at, its well thought out and very user friendly. The developers truly put some thought into this one! Its truly not just a dictionary. The quotes, articles, word games, even horoscope, all make it fun!. If you are like me, you know you need help in spelling and your vocabulary but you just cant seem to take the time or want to make the effort. This app will change all of that! I truly use it everyday!. And the articles, games, etc those too I use everyday. I have had both the free and the Pro versions. I travel a lot so am often without internet or unable to communicate in a foreign language. The Pro app takes care of that!. Thank you Developers for an amazing app!. There is a good reason this app has mainly five stars!. You will not be sorry with this amazing app!

I love this app. I am constantly trying to expand my vocabulary for business, & personal reasons. With the alert "word of the day" I cant help but make it a daily habit. Plus the other info is sorta like a fun "mind break"during my day when my days can be painfully intense. It is a reward after completing a task. Try it- you wont like it...you will love it if you like learning.

Ive only had its couple days. Ive attached other language dictionaries using the in app purchase function and it merged perfectly. I aptpreciate all the "bells & whistlest", so to speak, like word of the day, this day in history, etc. Its fun and informative.

Please I wish I could look up previous words of today..this feature is only located on the online version. Bookmark is high on my list. It allows me to safeguard my words. I had to replace two iPads and thought my bookmarks were lost. To my surprise they sync to both iPads and the free and paid app. But, the online bookmark doesnt include from both apps and iPads and vice versa.

A great dictionary and vocabulary builder.

Only improvement I would offer up is the addition of more/better examples of how to use each word in a sentence (preferably every day usage vs examples found in obscure literature).
