Dictionary and Thesaurus Pro App Reviews

I like this one the best after trying so many others. I would recommend to anyone who wants a great dictionary.

So I liked the free version so much that I paid to remove the ads. When Im typing and I need to find the spelling or meaning of a word, i do so by selecting and defining it then search by web and find the free dictionary site. At the top on their site it it used to say go to the app if you had the free version but since i replaced it with the pro, it now says do I want to download the app. I wish from the browser it would seamlessly go to my app. like it used to with the free version.

"Este" refers to "estar" But thats all. No translation of either to English comes up.

The app is good. Im sure you dont need to read my comment to gleam that. If youre wondering why you necessarily want a bigger vocabulary, that stretches into other languages, that recognizes roots of suffixes and every sonically quality syllable, then this is the comment for you! Mans pursuit of knowledge begins hundreds of thousands of years ago. The slow development of our brains over the millennia is still difficult to fully understand, but somewhere along the line, our race developed a level of "consciousness" that the planet Earth had never before encountered. From that mysterious day to this present day, when Im writing this AND when youre reading this, we, the human race, have pondered upon ourselves, wondering at the mysterious circumstances of our existence and delving inward to discover what ever we can. The conclusion generally agreed upon, at least for the time being, is that the "human experience" is so unbelievably unspeakably vast that we should cover our bases and try to incorporate as many different lenses for the world into our daily vision. That is why your are here, I suspect. All u can say is, Do or do not. There is no try.

I only use this app for years now. No other dictionary needed so far.

Love all the educational aspects but even with hearing devices I have trouble hearing some spelling bee words correctly. Any chance of using a female voice?

Format, ease of use, daily tid-bits of history from a-to-z, pardon the pun, make for a great app - this one. They havent crammed a truck of useless information onto their pages like some other dictionaries Ive tried. Great job, great app. Well worth the space on your phone or pad. Go for it.

I have been using The Free Dictionary online for many years - Im quite pleased now that I can benefit from the convenience of this app. As an avid English learner and graduate student, I could not ask for a better and more reliable resource. Thank you guys for such an extraordinary product.

Ive used many references in the past but this is the one I go to now. I love it!

I use this app every day to build up my English vocabulary and I particularly LOVE pronunciation option. PLEASE UPDATE THE UP, SO WE CAN USE IT IN MULTITASKING IN IPAD PRO by opening 2 windows side by side. It would be a great help in LEARNING. Thanks.
