Perfect app

Amazing app for online usage ( there is an offline option) havent tried it yet but regarding the online option it is remarkable . Funny games and words of the day pages . Gives the pronunciation of each word in multiple accents .

I encourage everyone to download .

The Dictionary! Pro App is one of my most used Apps. Hardly a day goes by that I have not spent some time using Dictionary! Pro. Sometimes Ill spend two or three hours poking around. Dictionary! Pro makes the English language fun. Its a must have tool and a lot of fun.

Does everything I need an app dictionary for. Blows Merriam-Webster out of the water.

This dictionary is a cost effective and valuable addition to my Apps. It also has Word Skill games and daily articles aimed at increasing ones knowledge that make it a very nice dictionary indeed. However, while I love using this dictionary, sometimes I am frustrated by going to one word only to be directed to another word and then be redirected to yet another word. Also, the references they provide often do not lend any help towards the meaning given: For example: When I looked up "ami" the dictionary gave me the meaning "a male friend" without any mention of its origins. In addition, the "References in Periodicals Archive" gave me this: By licensing the ARM7TDMI microprocessor core and the ARM922T microprocessor core, AMIS will be able to offer its customers the ability to translate ARM7TDMI core-based FPGA designs and ARM922T core-based FPGA designs to AMIS ASICs by using its highly developed FPGA-to-ASIC conversion capability." How on Earth does the above relate to the meaning given? It doesnt, of course. For those trying to learn any new word, the reference section is often confusing and frustrating. Dont get me wrong. I consider this dictionary very valuable to increasing my knowledge and keeping up the skills I already have. I also enjoy the low cost ad-free version. It just needs some attention to detail and tweaking to make even better.

What a resource! I use it all the time & recommend it to anyone. Alphabetical saving of favorites & no numerical limit (just memory) are my favorite things. Its very easy for me to spend a lot of time with this app; theres so much to learn! Keep up the great work!

this is my quintessential dictionary/thesaurus app. I peruse others but so far none have surpassed the free dictionary’s extensive lexicon, sources & references.

The dictionary is good, but there are also encyclopedia articles of the day and games. Interface also clean and well-organized. I really love this app.

This is the first resource, I turn to when I need to understand a word. It is indispensable in my daily life. I consult it at least 10 times daily. It has helped me in expanding my vocabulary and just as importantly my pronunciations. Dont be without it. Saeed Anwar

This dictionary has words that the other dictionary doesnt recognize. The info page of words & events is good read & fun games. Good for the mind.
