Dictionary and Thesaurus Pro App Reviews

The title says it all. For whatever reason that I need to consult a dictionary, whether writing a paper, needing to hear the word pronounced, working on my book, curious about a term, checking my spelling on a word, spell check or Siri doesnt understand, to even having a few minutes to relax and play word games, check the quote of the day or learn new words and their usage, this dictionary is my "Go-To-First" choice! Hands down the best dictionary on the web. Plus its fun to use. 0/ Thumbs up...the best!

This is a competent resource for word spelling & definitions.

Because it automatically checks many languages at the same time, just as you type a word.

Its not just word, you get history, a thesaurus, word origin and more, more, more! I like the word of the day feature especially. Its more than worth the price!

This dictionary app, helps me out a lot with my reading and trying to figure out the meaning of different and hard words, I usually never even heard of before.

Broad base of definitions, has everything including the most esoteric stuff.

The Free Dictionary is an app with true style!. Not only is it beautiful to look at, its well thought out and very user friendly. The developers truly put some thought into this one! Its truly not just a dictionary. The quotes, articles, word games, even horoscope, all make it fun!. If you are like me, you know you need help in spelling and your vocabulary but you just cant seem to take the time or want to make the effort. This app will change all of that! I truly use it everyday!. And the articles, games, etc those too I use everyday. I have had both the free and the Pro versions. I travel a lot so am often without internet or unable to communicate in a foreign language. The Pro app takes care of that!. Thank you Developers for an amazing app!. There is a good reason this app has mainly five stars!. You will not be sorry with this amazing app!

Just awesome, I love the fact, that I am finally able to use both of my languages German and English/USA, that helps me tremendously in my writing, it is easy to use, and it has everything you dream of an dictionary. This is the best dictionary app. Its diverse, accurate, frequently updated, useful, and fun! The profile rating system makes you want to log in and learn a plethora of useful info daily. My vocabulary has seemed to have improved, and I feel more articulate in my daily interactions. The upgrades are so worth it!

The bottom line: this is my go to dictionary, period.

I have tried several dictionary and medical apps, and this one beats anything Ive had before by far. Includes the specialized dictionaries, encyclopedia, and other ways to dig deeper into a words meaning and history. Oh, and I cant forget that it also includes foreign language dictionaries (not just translations). Plus games and such, if you like that kind of thing. All for the initial cost of the app. No nickel and diming you like so many other apps do.
